Overview:

Our client asked us to create a user-friendly and interactive digitized version of the whitepaper they normally send to their clients as a PDF. We created different visualizations of the data by using ChartJS. We added interactive elements to these charts so the visitor can choose a specific period or hide data from line charts. We also made sure the site was working perfectly on different devices and browsers. We created a clean and interactive visualization of the data stored in HubDB.

Problem the company had:

Our client had to manually create a whitepaper every quarter of a year based on data from Google Spreadsheets. They wanted a user-friendly and interactive way to display this data in HubSpot.

The Hubspot CMS solution:

Because our client did not want to manually update the data in both HubSpot and spreadsheets they also asked us to create a sync between HubSpot (HubDB) and spreadsheets. We did so by creating a NodeJS application that reads the data from spreadsheets using the Google Spreadsheet API and stores the data in HuBDB using the HubDB API. This NodeJS application runs every night using the node-cron npm package.

Results:

The website page has only been published today (20-05-2021) but it decreased the amount of effort our client had to go through to create this benchmark every quarter of a year.
