The form I have built for people to subscribe to resources directly sends them a welcome message. I can now share a newsletter and resources with those who fill the form.

Overview:

The website is where I want people to connect with me and get resources for applying to various competitions, hackathons, conferences. I have also aced the GRE, GMAT and TOEFL and plan to go for a Masters abroad. I wish to help students who plan to do the same. Additionally, this website is also a personal portfolio page for my projects to help recruiters and potential teammates at competitions to see my skills and interests.

Problem the company had:

My previous website was built using a clunky template and hosted on GitHub. It was a static website which didn’t allow me to communicate with people who visited my website. Additionally, I could not create blog posts or share portfolio details.

The Hubspot CMS solution:

This was my first time using a CMS. I used a HubSpot Marketplace theme which resonated with me and began transferring content from my previous website. I added a meeting link to connect with students. I added a form where students can register and be added to the mailing list. I also have a separate blog subdomain where I can now freely share my thoughts. The integration with Calendly is wonderful since I use that when connecting with people on LinkedIn.

Results:

The integration of mailing services, web analytics, SEO and website UX in HubSpot is amazing. Made use of the ability to track the activity of the CTAs. I can also check the bounce rate and the average time spent by a viewer on every page.
